History:

I started taking photos back in high school. I learned the basics through photo blogs and my first DSLR (Canon Rebel XS) served me well. I eventually upgraded cameras and also upgraded from taking snapshots to playing around with light and making photos instead of just taking photos. It wasn’t until college that I began working with student media and photographing everything and anything. Working for the university newspaper pushed me to explore several different types of photography (sports, portraits, events, etc.) If I had to choose, concert photography would have to be my favorite thing to shoot currently as it combines both my love of photography as well as my love of live music.
